Fear The Bird

This project was part of my internship with Event Management, Dining & Hospitality (EMDH), where I was tasked with creating t-shirt design options for Illinois State University’s 2026 release. The goal was to feature Reggie Redbird while taking a completely new creative direction compared to previous years. My designs aimed to feel fresh, engaging, and appealing to ISU students. I created the designs in Adobe Illustrator, choosing a more illustrative approach to give the design a unique and modern look. I explored many drafts and variations to experiment with style and overall composition. After refining my ideas, I narrowed everything down to the final two designs that best communicated the updated direction ISU was looking for.
